The Tessitura Colombo firm was set up in the early Fifties as a family firm, leaded by Mr. Marco Colombo, specialized in the production of wall covering fabrics and curtains. In the first two decades of activity the technical and quality level of the production increased rapidly and this attracted the attention of many of the main actors of this sector, who found in the Tessitura Colombo Company a very important business partner.

In 1976, our turning point year, in the Company entered a new member, Mr. Colombo’s son Carlo, and the activity bended towards new directions with the set up of a new company called WinTex that was created in order to increase the organization structure, the production potential and the products types, specializing themselves into the production of curtaining fabrics and furnishing items.

Nowadays, WinTex is a well known textile company with a highly qualified staff who’s able to apply the most innovative technologies, and this allows us to produce and sell high quality items requested by the most important contractors and distributors operating worldwide.
